Trampoline attachment points

As shown in the picture, our trampoline is attached to the deck using these round attachment points. That works well, but the problem is that the deck leading to them is very smooth, and it’s easy to slip down the deck a cut your foot.

It’s happened to me, and it just happened to a crew member. I consider this a safety hazard, as I know that it will happen again. The only thing that I’ve come up with is to 3D print some caps to go over the attachment points.

What does the 500 use?

Hi Geoff
Our 500SE uses the same attachment points but the angle of the hull down to the trampoline is very different. It is rounded so you step straight down onto the trampolines and no room for slippage.
So sorry we are not much help.

Two options here …… The quickest is to use a good pair of boat shoes! ……. The second option ) which does not mean that your have to drop the first option! ….. is to make a foam padded cover like they use on gymnastic trampolines ……. I have seen this on some catamarans (Zitara being one of them )
