If you spend any time in Knysna, and you have a car, you absolutely have to visit the Wild Oats Market in Sedgefield. It’s a huge, open-air market, with hundreds of vendors selling everything from flowers to boerewares sausage to bread to vegetables to wonderful prepared foods. It’s open from 8 AM to noon every Saturday. Get there early, and bring your appetite!
Across the parking lot from the Wild Oats Market, there are stalls and stalls of vendors selling clothing, artwork, more food, and all kinds of other fun stuff.
Sedgefield is about a 1/2 hour drive from Knysna and is located just off of N2. Watch your speed, as there are traffic cameras along the route.
