Latest 550 hull 2 build photos

It’s been a very busy week at the factory. Every day we have spent hours pouring over the details of the boat. We’ve made a ton of decisions, and are very happy with the process. The folks at KYC have been great to work with.

I can’t say enough about the thoughtful detail that has gone into the design. For example, they recently added a panel which will allow the engines to be removed from the boat once it’s constructed. I believe that the 44s or 48s had this.

The boat is progressing well. Here are some photos showing where it’s at.

Looking from salon into port hull. There will be a bathroom at the bottom of the stairs. To the left will be another bedroom, and to the right will be an athwart-ship bedroom, a sink-only washroom, and then the workshop.
