About ready to purchase a FLIR M364 camera. Considering mounting it on the mast a foot above the forestay. Anyone have any experience with this camera, or suggestions on where to mount it?
Sorry, no experience of that camera - but we do have a Raymarine CAM300 mini eyeball mounted on the mast looking down to make anchoring and manoeuvres near coral easier. Our camera was fitted by Sparcraft when they built the mast and fits to a extension on the mast top plate.
It’s only normal optical but is great as we work through tight spots and helping to land the anchor on the “sandy spot”
