550 Interior Design

One of the more daunting tasks for designing BlueJacket² was picking all of the interior materials and finishes. We quickly realized we were way over our heads, so we brought in an interior designer.

We’ve been working with Principia Design, which is a husband-and-wife team. Alysha does the design work, and Garth generates renderings based on Knysna’s CAD drawings. What we/they have come up with is really stunning.

If you have a VR headset, you can really immerse yourself by clicking on the glasses icon in the upper right-hand corner. I’ve had one for years, and this is the first practical use I’ve ever had for it! Note that if you haven’t updated your headset in a while, you may have to do so to view this.

I’ve received some messages that it wasn’t clear how to access the virtual tour of the 550. Here it is:

You can use your finger or mouse to rotate the view 360 degrees. You can click on the white dots to move to other areas or click on the links at the bottom to move to other views. Very cool!
